If you’re grinding in MLB The Show 26, unlocking the legendary Polo Grounds is a big deal. Its unique “horseshoe” shape makes it stand out, and it’s a serious game-changer for hitting missions and fun plays. This year, though, the requirement is tougher than ever.
How to Unlock Polo Grounds
To get the Polo Grounds in DD, you need to hit 30 Triples. That’s double last year’s 15 triples milestone, so be ready for a grind.
Where to Track: Go to Programs > Assorted Programs > My Legacy. Your triple count is tracked here.
Best Strategies to Farm Triples
Hitting 30 triples naturally can take forever, but these methods speed it up:
Play at Forbes Field or Coors Field
Forbes Field: Deep gaps and long fences make triples much easier.
Coors Field: The thin air helps balls hang, giving your speedy hitters more chances to reach third.
Use a High-Speed Lineup
Pick players with 90+ Speed and Stealing stats. Examples: Corbin Carroll, Bobby Witt Jr., Elly De La Cruz.
The faster your runners, the easier it is to stretch doubles into triples.
Play vs. CPU on Rookie
Use Mini Seasons or Play vs. CPU modes.
Focus on hitting to the gaps and stopping at third—even if the ball could clear the fence.
Stadium Creator (Next-Gen Only)
Download custom stadiums from the Vault, usually named “Max Triples” or “30 Triples XP.”
These stadiums often feature huge outfields, 500-foot centers, and massive gaps—perfect for racking up triples fast.
Why Unlock Polo Grounds?
Polo Grounds isn’t just a fun stadium—it’s a mission powerhouse.
Easy Home Runs: The foul poles are super close (250–280 ft), so even if you swing late, you can knock one out.
Guaranteed Triples/Inside-the-Park HRs: Center field is nearly 500 feet deep. Hit it past the center fielder, and you’re almost guaranteed a triple—or even an inside-the-park home run.
If you’re chasing mission milestones or just want a crazy hitting experience, Polo Grounds is a must-have. With the right lineup, stadium, and strategy, you’ll hit 30 triples faster than you think.
